In Harm’s Way is the latest reality series from Craig Piligian, the prolific creator of Dirty Jobs and American Chopper.
In Harm's Way is a brand-new hour of unscripted, action-packed television that debuted in October on the CW network.
According producers, “Riding bulls for a living – a day’s work for a seasoned bull rider sometimes lasts a mere 8 seconds – the length of a complete ride in professional competition.
“Working closely with the PBR, this episode of In Harm’s Way takes viewers inside the exciting and demanding sport of professional bull riding.
Hosted by Hunter Ellis, a former Navy fighter pilot and one of People magazine's ‘50 Most Beautiful People in the World,’ each episode documents the stories of the brave individuals who risk their lives in a multitude of life-threatening jobs, all for the benefit of society.
The episode involving the PBR was recently filmed at a Built Ford Tough Series event in Tulsa, Okla., where cameras followed several riders, including Justin McBride and J.B. Mauney.
This episode documents the grueling battle of man versus beast, and its sometimes brutal results. Cameras followed three-time World Champion Adriano Moraes after his calf muscle was sliced open by the razor-sharp hoof of a 2,000-pound bull.
Besides professional bull riding, other episodes profile avalanche hunters, oil well cappers, Coast Guard rescue swimmers and hurricane chasers, to name a few.
In Harm’s Way airs every Sunday on the CW network. The PBR will be featured in the first of two back-to-back episodes this Sunday on Nov. 9. Please check local listings for exact times in your area.
